Welcome to our Title 1 Math and Reading Page. 

Title 1 is a federal program to help all students meet academic standards.  The goal of Title 1 is a high-quality education for all children, so the program provides extra help to students who need it most.

Our Title 1 program at Spencer Elementary is a school wide program with Title 1 teachers and staff working together to:  * identify students in need of educational help  * set goals for student improvement  * measure student progress  * develop programs that add to the regular class instruction  * involve parents in all aspects of the program

Extended Day Learning:

Monday and Wednesday:  First and Second Grade

Tuesday and Thursday:  Third and Fourth Grade

Up-to-date News!

The Town Meeting and Title 1 Informational Session was held in early September.  We hope we provided valuable information for students and parents concerning the Title 1 services we offer. 

Grandparent night with Bingo for Books was a huge success.  We had over 70 people playing!  We hope every child and grandparent had a wonderful time visiting.  Thanks to all who attended to help make it such an enjoyable evening.  Also, thanks to all staff members who came to support our program!

We continue to offer Hot Chocolate day for each grade level to promote parent involvement in our student's education.  Please support your child's educational experience.
